Files are transferred through a familiar Windows point and click interface. You can retain, modify or add the all-important image name to identify your work using the Quantel pen and tablet. File transfers are so Quantel-friendly that copying images to a clip (as available in the Quantel Henry and Editbox) is a breeze. Animation, logos, single frames and fonts are all transferred with the same ease.

corkscrew can browse the shared disks across your O.P.E.N. network and copy images back to your PC with ease too. Aspect ratio information can be retained or added to images, simplifying mixed format transfers between 525, 625, 4:3, 16:9 and square pixel computer systems.

With corkscrew you can copy a series of VPB, Tiff, Targa or Photoshop files to your Quantel system, process the images the way only Quantel can, then return them to your PC, adding functionality and flexibility to your Quantel suite.

Any disk drive accessible to your Windows PC can be used with corkscrew, allowing you and your clients a choice of disk formats. There is no need for complex network or server configurations either. Even with a single PC you can gain access to your entire O.P.E.N. network. corkscrew is designed to sit at the digital artist's fingertips. When a client arrives with a graphic on disk, just slip it in a drive and send it to your Quantel system, eliminating the need for a separate 'transfer area'. Progress bars are displayed on-screen giving confidence to the digital artist and client alike.
